Distilled Records Spider Mike King releases The Blood River Sessions Volume 1 on November 26th - the EP was recorded live at Unit 7 Studios in Scotland and a FREE gig to celebrate its release will take place in Spider Mikes native Manchester. Details of the launch party can be found HERE and a preview of one of the tracks from the EP can be found HERE.
Distilled Records Al Price is back from touring the Baltics with Unit 7s Huey Dowling (he also produced Als LP) - a special video to thank everyone invovled is up on DistilledVision (YouTube). Al Price is now heading down to Bristol to play at the National Harmonica Leagues bash... Steven Finn has delayed the recording of his first LP for the label due to some pond life stealing his van!! Distilled Records hope to get him in the studio very soon. The launch party for Spider Mike Kings EP The Blood River Sessions Volume 1 will take place in Manchester in November... more news on that soon... Distilled Records are pleased to announce that we have signed arguably Scotlands hardest working group, DIDDUMS. The band draws heavily on its influences of glam, punk and early rock 'n' roll to create a sound that is both accessible, exciting and shimmers with pop sensibility! DIDDUMS played Live At The Creamery #4 a few months back and blew all that saw them away with their power and passion! DIDDUMS will enter Unit 7 Studios here in Bladnoch next month to start work on their first EP for Distilled Records.....

By the group Chumbawamba - Distilled Records really like what it has to say about music (the title) so here it is in all its glory for your pleasure -

FUNDRAISING CONCERT ? Pakistan Flood Crisis: Fri. 10th September 2010, 8pm - Nathon Jones and the Woodshed Allstars bluegrass band, and friends including Steve Dowling, Al Price & Huey Dowling, are hosting a special fundraising concert in aid of the flood victims in Pakistan. Venue: The Galloway Arms Hotel, Victoria Street, Newton Stewart Entry is minimum £3.00 per person donation. All proceeds to the Pakistan Flood Appeal.
